Our Summer Programs:

Please note: Starbeam Studios has grown for the need of an addition teacher! Some of these summer programs will be taught by Miss Kayln and some will be taught by Miss Abbey.

Themed Camps ~ Ages 2.5-7 (unless pre-approved)

Our themed camps are designed for younger dancers to come and enjoy dance with the theme of the day. The camp includes a share time, dance class, (including basic tap, ballet, and jazz movements) a small craft, multiple themed games, a snack, (we provide gold fish and water- if you prefer a different snack you may send it with your child) and a dance performance for the parents at the end of the camp. This is the format for all camps with the exception of the Princess Tea which consists of Tea Time, Story Time, and Princess Training, and of course a princess filled dance class.

Come try our Around the Studio Workshop where we include every class offered at the studio at their level with the teacher assumed to teach it starting Fall 2019. Come test and get your feet wet or advance your skills by trying something you never have before and maybe just maybe you might find a new love- or in the least you will be a more rounded dancer.

These are designed to challenge and grow your skills as a dancer in the style of the intensive. They are hardcore and you will be pushed and worked. These are the best way to jump start next semester and to kick your dancing skills to the next level. They are not for those that just want to try out the dance style- these are for students that have already been dancing and really want to become better dancers.

Musical Theater Camp Performance ~ Grade 6th + unless pre-approved

This camp needs a minimum of 7 enrolled performers to run prior to the enrollment cut off period. Many of my theater students have been asking for something at the next level... well here it is! This is going to be a level up from the semester Musical Theater Class that has been currently offered. This is hardcore and very professional but will be a super fun experience. I am running this as a trial, if this goes well I might consider offering a more advance theater during the semester as well as I will consider next summer touring with this program.  Performance Space has not been decided yet- but it will probably be a church in the area as this is a program that hopes to tour in the future and many of the town we would tour to do not have affordable performing art centers therefore churches are the next best option.
